The Wroxton offers five wedding packages, from an intimate Wroxton Room ceremony to exclusive hire of the entire hotel, each built around the same standards: your own wedding coordinator, complimentary menu tasting and a night in the bridal suite, scaled to your guest list and budget. This guide compares what is actually in each package, what a civil ceremony room or the outdoor Broughton Garden looks like on the day, and how couples make the day their own.
Choose Your Setting First
Before comparing packages, it is worth deciding where you will actually marry, since that decision shapes your guest list more than anything else. The Wroxton is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships across three spaces:
- The Wroxton Room: licensed for up to 30 guests, hired at £300. Suited to an intimate ceremony.
- The Broughton Room: licensed for up to 90 guests, hired at £500. Built for a bigger wedding.
- The Broughton Garden: licensed for outdoor ceremonies for up to 90 guests, with the Broughton Room on standby as a wet-weather backup.

Indoors, both rooms sit within the hotel’s exclusive-hire setup, so your guests are not sharing the space with other visitors on the day.

Outdoors, the Broughton Garden gives you a landscaped, thatched-village backdrop for the ceremony itself, and doubles as the setting for drinks receptions and photos afterwards regardless of which room you marry in. Couples booking a registrar for either setting go through the Oxfordshire Registration Service directly. That is a separate booking from the venue itself, and worth locking in as soon as your date is confirmed with the hotel.

Make It Your Own

Because the package structure is fixed, most of the personality in the day comes from how you use it. The Wroxton is explicit that it welcomes all couples (Mr & Mrs, Mr & Mr, or Mrs & Mrs) and that pet-friendly weddings are part of what it offers, so a well-behaved dog can be part of the day rather than left at home. For getting ready, there is a choice too: the complimentary bridal suite in the main house (a wooden bed, roll-top bath, walk-in shower and a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel), or the hotel’s separate cottage, which is popular with bridal parties getting ready together beforehand.
Catering has room to be personalised too. Canapé selections (vegetarian, fish and meat) are priced by how many varieties you choose, and evening food options span an Italian feast, an American feast, an English feast, an Indian feast and a Mediterranean feast, all built around the hotel’s own locally sourced menus.
